About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our National Account Managers are responsible for the profitable sales growth of National Account business whilst utilising management information and sales reports provided to deliver the Sales Budget set by the Sales Director and in line with the Company objectives.

Main Duties include:

  1. Establish and develop a professional business relationship with their set portfolio of National Account workshops
  2. Assist with any local issues affecting sales to workshops by working closely with the Regional Director and support functions
  3. Organise and manage sales call plans, monitor sales decline by workshop and put forward initiatives to grow and develop sales. This will include strategic recovery plans with the required team members and DD
  4. Produce and manage a sales development plan for assigned accounts, including New Business Development Plan for each customer within their account portfolio
  5. Update the sales development plan on a monthly basis to track the customers' sales progress and present at each Team Meeting
  6. Analyse and review Management Information supplied Weekly and Monthly to identify any non-compliance or sales issues, agree key counter measures to address these shortfalls
  7. Produce a cost v benefit sales analysis for each new business opportunity being put forward and present to the Sales Director for approval
  8. Work alongside each region to manage and deliver the sales target and product compliance targets required for each individual customer site
  9. Develop a close working relationship with relevant support functions to enable informed discussions with customers as required
  10. This role requires travel across a defined area with some overnight stays to maximize productivity

Working hours: (average) hours Monday to Friday

About You

The ideal National Accounts Manager will be an experienced Sales Professional with recent experience of working in and managing National/Corporate Account Customers.

What you'll need to succeed:

  1. Proven track record of Sales achievements including New Business Development and experience of selling solutions into customers
  2. Organisational, Project Planning, Call and Sales Planning experience
  3. Computer Literate - Microsoft Office / Excel / Power Point
  4. Ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently
  5. Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
  6. Flexibility to travel with overnight stays
