Our client is a specialist international packaging manufacturer seeking to appoint an ambitious sales professional aiming to build a long-lasting career with them.

The role is best suited for someone with experience in both account management and business development within paper and plastics FMCG packaging for the food & retail sectors.

Experience in markets such as leading grocery retailers, fast food chains, plant bakeries, distributors, and consolidators would be highly advantageous.

The role requires regular onsite presence at the client’s premises in Staffordshire, with travel to clients as needed.

The role will be approximately 60% account management and 40% new business development, varying weekly.

Account values managed will range from several hundred thousand pounds to low millions.

This is an exciting time for the client as they experience significant growth and capital investment.

This position is part of the company’s succession planning and aims to expand the sales team to increase capacity with additional paper packaging machinery.

The company produces around 15 million packaging items weekly and outsources an additional £10 million worth of packaging globally.

The manufacturing site in the UK is equipped with 10 German/French machines producing SOS, SOS die-cut, F&S, F&S strip window bags with inline printing (4-6 colors).

Further investments are planned, including new machinery arriving in late spring to expand fast food ‘grab bag’ and paper tape handle production.

The company has space for further development to meet growing demand.
