About Our Client

A foodservice business that monopolises their corner of the food market, supplying to wholesalers, HORECA through to end customers. This remote based role will see you drive existing customer trade as well as unlock new.

Salary:

Circa £45k - £60k + CA, remote working

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow client accounts within the FMCG sector - Foodservice Wholesalers, HORECA through to end customers
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to stakeholders
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure long-term partnerships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
The Successful Applicant

A successful National Account Manager (Foodservice) should have:

  • A strong understanding of the Foodservice Wholesale sector
  • Ideally experience working on behalf of a manufacturer, selling into Brakes/Bidfood
  • Proven experience in managing client accounts and building relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyse data and develop actionable insights
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving targets
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and CRM systems
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is desirable
