National Account Manager
Department: Commercial
Location: Lindal Head office
Reports to: Commercial Director
Purpose of Role:
To grow profitable sales for the UK across a portfolio of strategic accounts whilst ensuring that all account plans, customer requirements and sales dependent activities are actioned swiftly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a sales strategy for the agreed UK portfolio of accounts and ensure the individual sales strategies for each customer are met.
- Retain existing customers and secure new business development opportunities to achieve required growth.
- Exceed levels of turnover and profitable sales by offering exceptional customer service from order to delivery.
- Produce tenders and develop new client accounts in line with individual objectives.
- Manage an internal project team to develop new products from design ideas through to production.
- Understand and communicate the business strategy, department KPI's etc.
- Forecast sales levels, product volumes and products so that other teams have visibility to enable them to plan their operation.
- Journey and account planning is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Accurate and timely completion of all administration relating to UK portfolio of accounts.
- Ensure all customer complaints are investigated and resolved in a timely manner to avoid recurrence and retain the customer.
- Effective communication to relevant internal stakeholders so they are aware of issues and concerns which may affect a customer or their order.
- Accurate and timely completion of all contractual documentation (including CAD forms) relating to customers.
- Understand and adhere to internal processes.
- Complete all required administration fully, accurately and in line with deadlines.
- Understand and assess the business requirements so as to flex the speed of response to meet the needs of each situation.
- Represent the business positively whilst visiting customers, attending conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions, which will involve travel in the UK and potentially abroad.
- Forecast and reforecast for your portfolio of accounts and contribute to the budgeting process.
- As part of the Global Sales team, support other team members and customers to meet the wider sales plan.
- Work closely with the Customer service team to deliver consistent and thorough service, information and relationships with other departments and customers.
- Work closely with the merchandisers to deliver exceptional brand exposure and experience in your portfolio of accounts.
- Be an ambassador for Wax Lyrical.
- Foster a continuous improvement culture and methods to improve sales and customer service.
- Embed and commit to Wax Lyrical's values, policies, procedures and objectives.
