Hey good smelling! We’re Fussy…about everything in our mission to banish single-use plastic from your bathroom. Having experienced exceptional growth over the past four years, we are now looking for a talented individual to join the team as a National Account Manager. You will contribute to our retail strategy and help drive sales for our first product, a refillable deodorant.

This is a super exciting opportunity to join a disruptive startup during an exciting period of growth. The chosen candidate will work directly with the senior leadership team to deliver growth in our retail business.

About the role

Joining as a National Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing relationships through regular contact with some of our key existing retail partners, focusing on High Street or Grocery sectors.

Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Account management for key retail partners, focusing on High Street or Grocery.
  • Supporting the Head of Sales with preparing pitches for new retail opportunities.
  • Managing forecasts and P&L for your accounts and achieving growth targets.
  • Driving sales by ensuring customer admin is completed accurately and on time, in-store visibility, and online content quality.
  • Identifying market trends through competitor analysis to find commercial opportunities.
  • Reporting and analyzing retailer, category, and market data to inform our strategy.
  • Representing the company at external trade events and meetings.
  • Collaborating with marketing and operations to develop retail plans.
  • Taking on various tasks as needed to support the team.

About you

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds. To succeed in this role, the following skills are essential:

  • Approximately 2+ years of sales experience within an FMCG company, with a proven track record of building retailer relationships and driving growth.
  • Interest in sustainability and wellness spaces. Knowledge of the Health & Beauty market and related categories is advantageous.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, able to engage and motivate others.
  • Analytical skills and commercial awareness.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and proactively.

  • A salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working setup: from September, in our Central London office (Tues–Thurs in Shoreditch).
