National Account Manager

UK Role – Ideally based Central England

Up to £60k +25% bonus + Car Allowance of £6500 p.a

THE ROLE: As National Account Manager for this highly successful construction contractor you will be focused on developing and driving the new build sector, Your remit will be to target and win business across around 9 key national housebuilders and to sell the service offering across regional and head office contacts. The other sector you will focus on is Leisure, with hotel chains being a great opportunity to open and grow business. As well as the wide range of external stakeholders you will sell to and engage with in your target customers, you will also spend time working with your regional sales team and branch contacts in your business to help the regional management of your accounts and ensure localised customer service. Internal and external relationships are key in the role as well as a strong Commercial acumen and the ability to be adaptable to different sectors. Dealing with a range of contacts from Site Managers, Contract and Project Managers and Commercial and Procurement Directors, you will be looking to win both adhoc new orders as well as drive larger scale national agreements and project tenders.

THE PERSON If you have a successful field sales background within key or national accounts or you have evidence of being able to win accounts that you have then grown or managed nationally this would be a great role for you. Candidates with a knowledge of selling a product or service to National Housebuilders would be very favourable. Alternatively, a candidate who has worked at head office level selling to hotel chains or the NHS. Our client is looking for a calibre sales professional ideally someone who has sold a service to public sector, local authorities, or construction industry. They are happy to provide full product training and team fit and personality is key due to the need to work with multiple branches and stakeholders internally and externally. Your desire to succeed coupled with your can-do attitude will make you the ideal candidate for the role of National Account Manager.

THE PACKAGE FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

Basic: £60,000 (dependent upon experience)

Bonus: 25% of salary

Car: Car Allowance of £6,500 p.a

LOCATION: Open within the UK but central location is preferred
