Job description

As a National Account Executive you will play a key role in crafting and implementing account management sales strategies to meet our sales goals and objectives. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to forge strong relationships with our current customers, while also spotting chances to introduce and promote new products and services through 'up' and 'cross' selling.

This role has a particular focus on large customer accounts including third party channels such as facilities management (FM's) companies, managing agents and other corporate national accounts. You'll engage in a systematic approach to managing accounts, nurturing strong relationships with our valued customers while also working to broaden our market presence in key verticals.

Overview

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with large scale existing customer accounts
  • Conduct research to identify customer needs and build structured plans
  • Work with the National Sales Executives to prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to existing and potential customers
  • Provide reports on sales activities, performance metrics, pipeline status and customer feedback
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues ensuring they have the account management tools and capabilities to succeed
  • Support negotiations with major customers to secure contracts and close deals that meet company objectives
  • Ensure KPI targets are delivered to drive recurring customer revenue and account growth alongside ensuring business profitability thresholds and objectives are achieved.
  • Building sales pipelines, securing new business, price increases, upsell and cross sell activities.
  • Maximise existing customer growth by identifying new opportunities prospects by providing water hydration solutions and services to boost top-line revenue growth and customer acquisition levels.
  • Work with Customer Experience and shared service teams to maximise customer retention, satisfaction, service delivery and account health.
  • Support the development of a sales pipeline with a focus on active opportunity and value creation.
  • Develop quality networks within Culligan and with customers
Requirements

  • Experience in a sales role and of working directly with customers
  • Knowledge of the current product range including high-value and Purezza equipment would be advantageous
  • An understanding of customer account relationship management
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting targets
  • Understands the importance of generating pipeline and customer contact activity.
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of account management skills especially but not limited to - listening, questioning, summarising, providing, negotiating, closing and handling customers concerns
  • Analytical and commercial acumen skills and outlook
  • Experience of customer account management
  • Skilled in building and leveraging relationships.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a pro-active outgoing nature.
  • Good organisational / planning skills with ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines
