National Account Executive - Retail Accounts

North Leeds | £40,000 base + £8,000 OTE

Permanent | Full-Time | Hybrid, 4 days in the office

POST Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a market-leading brand to recruit an experienced and commercially savvy National Account Executive to join their high-performing team in Harrogate.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven National Account Executive to take ownership of key retail accounts, support and coach a small team, and deliver strategic growth across established and emerging clients in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing a portfolio of national retail accounts, delivering on agreed commercial objectives.
  • Achieve sales revenue and volume targets across your portfolio.
  • Proactively identify and win new retail accounts, negotiating commercial terms and clearly communicating internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, meeting qualitative performance targets.
  • Build tailored development plans for each account, aligning with broader business and marketing strategies.
  • Plan and execute targeted promotional campaigns in collaboration with retail partners.
  • Gather and analyse marketplace intelligence to inform future business planning.
  • Provide regular performance updates, tracking against targets and highlighting trends or opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal departments including operations and marketing to ensure smooth delivery of account-specific activity.
