Job description

At Myton Food Group, we're proud to be one of the UK's biggest food manufacturers - making fresh, high quality food for Morrisons and a growing list of external retailers. Now, we're looking for a National Account Executive to help us grow our business outside of Morrisons, managing and supporting key retail accounts across Myton divisions.

Reporting into the Senior National Account Manager and working closely with the Head of Retail Sales (External), you'll play a key role in building relationships, delivering joint business plans, launching new products and making sure we hit volume and profitability targets.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the growth of external retail accounts through great relationships and excellent service
  • Helping deliver joint business plans that align with customer needs with our commercial goals
  • Leading on new product development and supporting successful launches across categories
  • Tracking and analysing sales data to drive performance and spot opportunities
  • Acting as a key contact for buying and supply chain teams
  • Collaborating with colleagues in supply chain, finance, NPD and manufacturing to makes things happen
  • Bringing insights to the table, from market trends to competitor activity, to support smart, data driven decisions
About you

If you're passionate about retail, commercially minded, and love the buzz of category growth and product launches, this could be the role for you. We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in retail category management, ideally across a range of categories
  • A strong grasp of supply chain and manufacturing operations
  • Hands on experience with Joint Business Partnering (JBP) and commercial strategy
  • Confidence managing key retail accounts and developing new business
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Good financial understanding, including P&L management and managing cost price pressures
  • A track record of delivering new product launches and driving category growth
