Overview

A lovely family based in Clapham, London, is looking for an After-School Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. They seek a warm, engaging, and confident individual with fluency in English. This role is ideal for someone mature, proactive, and sporty, who can confidently support both the academic and emotional development of the children. The older child is preparing for the 11+ exams and will require homework assistance and general academic support. The younger child has asthma and several food allergies; the nanny must be confident in managing allergies and potential emergencies with a calm and responsible approach. A valid First Aid qualification is required for this position.

Hours

Working hours: Monday to Wednesday or Thursday 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm or 7:30 pm.

Duties

• preparing healthy meals and snacks
• washing and dressing the children
• helping with homework
• doing after school activities with the children
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
• doing arts and crafts
• taking the children to parks and playgrounds
• preparing them for bed and reading them stories
