Overview

A lovely family in Kentish Town, London, is looking for an After-school Nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged child. They are seeking a reliable and engaging candidate to undertake all standard childcare duties. Responsibilities will also include cooking and preparing healthy meals for the children. The ability to speak French or German would be a bonus, though strong English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours

Monday to Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 10 hours per week

Duties

• Ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks suited to their needs
• Keep bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well organised
• Engage the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
• Encourage early literacy and a love for reading through storytime and age-appropriate books
• Establish and maintain consistent daily routines to provide structure and stability
• Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the children

Qualifications

• Valid first aid qualification is essential for this position
• Language: French or German a bonus; strong English-speaking candidates will also be considered
• Experience with toddlers and school-aged children preferred
