Job description

This lovely family based in Lewisham, London, is looking for a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to help keep their home clean and organised while caring for their baby and school-aged child. All general nanny-housekeeping duties are required in this role, including cooking for the family. A driver would be a bonus, though not essential. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday and Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am to 10:00 am (with flexibility).

Duties include:

Providing full care for the children, including bathing, dressing, maintaining proper hygiene, and ensuring their safety and well-being
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s development
Engaging the children in age-appropriate educational activities, creative play, and outdoor outings such as trips to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books and supporting their educational growth, including homework assistance
Caring for infants, including nappy changes, bottle preparation, and making purees
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children and the family
Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
Carrying out all general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised home (no deep cleaning)
Performing household laundry and ironing, including changing bed linens and making beds
Keeping kitchen and bathroom areas clean and tidy, and loading/unloading the dishwasher
Running errands for the family as needed, such as grocery shopping
Cooking healthy, balanced meals for the entire family
