Job description

This lovely family based in Lewisham, London, is seeking a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and organised home while providing care for their baby and school-aged child. The role involves all general nanny and housekeeping duties, including preparing meals for the family. A driving licence would be a bonus, though not essential. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday and Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am to 10:00 am (with flexibility).

Duties include:

Providing full care for the children, including bathing, dressing, maintaining proper hygiene, and ensuring their safety and well-being
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs
Engaging the children in age-appropriate educational activities, creative play, and outdoor outings such as trips to the park
Encouraging early literacy through regular reading and supporting their educational growth, including homework assistance
Caring for infants by preparing bottles, changing nappies, supporting weaning, and making fresh purees
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children and the family’s dietary preferences
Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
Carrying out general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, comfortable, and organised home (excluding deep cleaning)
Performing household laundry and ironing, including changing bed linens and making beds
Maintaining cleanliness in high-use areas such as the kitchen and bathroom; loading and unloading the dishwasher
Running errands for the family, including grocery shopping and dry cleaning collection
Cooking healthy, balanced meals for the whole family
