Job description

A lovely family based in Maldon, Essex, is looking for a full-time Nanny-Housekeeper to assist them in looking after their three school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their property. They are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with children and creating opportunities for fun and social development. They have a cat and are planning to get a dog, so someone pet-friendly would be ideal, but it is not a must. A driver is required for this position, and the candidate should be comfortable driving both automatic and manual vehicles.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, approximately 36 hours per week

Duties include:

Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
Making beds and replacing linens as needed
Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
Cook and prepare meals for the children

The family is seeking someone who can start in mid-August 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
