Job description

A Live in Nanny-Housekeeper is needed in Chelsea, London to help the family in caring for their charming toddler as well as take charge of the housekeeping duties. This position is perfect for someone who is responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively. They would like someone who can be a confident cook, not necessarily in a particular cuisine but must follow recipes. Big preference for Tagalog speakers however they can consider English-speaking candidates.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, approximately 55 hours per week. Total of 40 hours per week in term time, big gap in the day, school holidays for 55 hours per week.

Accommodation: Bedroom ensuite

Duties include:

Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
Making beds and replacing linens as needed
Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
