Nanny Glasgow - Live-in or Live-out
Support for 6-month-old Twins
Start date: July 2025

Salary: £16-£20 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Annual Salary: £30,000-£41,000

A warm and welcoming family in Giffnock is seeking an experienced and trustworthy nanny to care for their 6-month-old twins (a boy and a girl). The role begins with shared care alongside mum, transitioning to sole charge when she returns to work in October.

The ideal candidate is warm, nurturing, and calm, seamlessly integrating into family life, providing confident care, and supporting the babies' development and routines.

Candidates must have relevant experience with babies, be capable of working independently, taking initiative, and enhancing the babies' routines and needs.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare Duties:

• Support feeding and nap routines
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and changing
• Engage in age-appropriate play and activities
• Encourage early literacy and communication through books and songs
• Take children on walks, to playgroups, classes, and outings
• Support developmental milestones and maintain a nurturing rhythm
• Assist with bedtime and occasional babysitting (by agreement)

Household Duties (child-related):

• Keep bedrooms and play areas tidy and organized
• Manage nursery laundry and wardrobe rotation
• Maintain cleanliness in shared areas used with the children (kitchen, living spaces)

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience
• Experience with babies essential; twins experience a bonus
• Background in early years or child development beneficial

Essential Requirements:
