Job description

This lovely family based in Merton, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged child on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate must be fluent in French. The role will involve all standard nanny duties, and a valid first aid qualification is essential.

Working hours: 3 days per week, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm + 1 day per week 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (optional) twice per month babysitting (weekend)

Duties include:

Engaging the children in play and taking them to the park
Providing supervision and constant care to ensure safety and well-being
Planning and organising age-appropriate activities to support development
Collecting the children from school and escorting them safely home
Preparing healthy snacks and light meals after school
Assisting with homework and encouraging learning in a supportive way
Organising recreational activities, such as arts, crafts, and board games
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised environment for the children
Supporting a structured yet fun after-school routine, including preparation for bedtime if required
