Job Description for Nanny with Light Housekeeping Based in Woking, Surrey

Position: Permanent

Salary: £20 gross per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Hours Required: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - 8am to 7pm.

Driver: A driver with own car is required

Summary:

A lovely family of three living in a peaceful, 3-storey townhouse in a quiet square in Woking is looking for a warm, reliable, and engaging nanny to care for their cheerful 2-year-old. This role also includes light housekeeping and occasional family support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing attentive and nurturing care to a 2-year-old
  • Supporting age-appropriate developmental milestones and educational play
  • Potty training guidance
  • Planning and supervising fun outings such as trips to the park, swimming, and more
  • Preparing healthy meals for the family
  • Light housekeeping duties
  • Child-related errands such as food and clothes shopping, and general admin

This role will suit you if you are:

  • Friendly, cheerful, and enthusiastic about childcare
  • Creative in planning engaging and educational activities
  • Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Confident in helping a toddler grow and develop through daily routines

Bonus: Tamil language skills are a strong advantage, though not essential.
