Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Nurse with extensive safeguarding experience to lead the Children's agenda at CWPT, a multi-faceted Trust serving three Local Authorities. This highly skilled role involves strategic leadership, innovation, and excellent communication skills to foster multi-professional interagency working in safeguarding children.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Trust's Safeguarding Children's agenda with passion and dedication.
  2. Work across local health and social care sectors to prevent harm to children.
  3. Provide clinical leadership ensuring compliance with relevant legislation such as the Children Act 1989/04, Working Together 2023, Children and Social Work Act 2017, and the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
  4. Develop and maintain effective inter-agency relationships, offering expert advice and supervision.
  5. Contribute to safeguarding practice development, education, governance, and accountability.
  6. Handle complex and sensitive information with high interpersonal and communication skills.
