Position: Named Enterprise Account Executive - Qatar

We are seeking a creative, delivery-oriented Named Enterprise Account Executive to maximize the significant market opportunity for Databricks in Qatar. As an Account Executive, you will sell innovation and value to existing customers, identify new use cases, grow consumption, and guide deals to accelerate decision cycles. You should have a deep understanding of our product and be passionate about communicating its value to customers and partners. This role offers substantial career growth potential aligned with our team's expansion.

You will report to the Director, Enterprise Sales South Africa and Qatar. The role is based in London with a fly-in/fly-out working model.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess your territory and develop a successful execution strategy.
  2. Drive quarter-on-quarter consumption growth in existing accounts.
  3. Exceed activity and quarterly revenue targets.
  4. Maintain detailed customer records, including use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  5. Identify new use case opportunities and demonstrate value to existing customers.
  6. Promote the value of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  7. Coordinate with field engineering teams to ensure valuable client outcomes.
  8. Build and demonstrate value during engagements to facilitate successful negotiations and closures.
Qualifications:
  1. Extensive understanding of data platforms, open source, and cloud ecosystems.
  2. Strong prospecting research skills and stakeholder mapping ability.
  3. Proven success in value selling and developing mutual action plans.
  4. Ability to influence decision-making and strategy at the leadership level.
  5. Credibility with C-suite executives.
  6. Experience selling to technical buyers.
  7. Track record of growing consumption and closing committed deals in direct sales roles.
  8. Mastery of MEDDPICC methodology.
  9. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  10. Fluency in English and Arabic.
