Job Description:

As a Named Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will leverage your expertise in Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and AI to develop strategies within the Manufacturing, Energy, and Industrial sectors. Reporting to the Sales Director for MEI, your role involves identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and collaborating with teams and partners to deliver exceptional value to customers.

The impact you will have:

  • Design and develop unique use cases and solutions that differentiate Databricks within the MEI segment.
  • Co-develop business plans with your team and partners to accelerate customer success and exceed sales goals.
  • Lead and motivate a team of big data and AI professionals to implement your business strategies.
  • Identify impactful big data and AI use cases, demonstrating their value on the Databricks platform.
  • Support customers' big data and AI transformation goals through strategic partnerships, professional services, training, and executive engagement.
  • Build value in all engagements to facilitate successful negotiations and closures.

What we look for:

  • Experience in direct enterprise software sales to large organizations.
  • Knowledge of Data & AI space with relevant sales experience.
  • Proven track record of quota over-achievement in complex software sales.
  • Experience with usage-based subscription services (SaaS) and co-selling with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Ability to develop business cases and gain support from C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales, and others.
  • Experience in developing partnerships and executing territory plans.
  • Understanding of consumption-based sales models and 'land and expand' strategies.
