NAAME Project Manager 8299 | Fixed Term Contract until 01 May 2026 | £42,463 to £46,732 per annum (Scale K) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Project Manager within Economic Development's Innovation and Sectors team. Hybrid working with office base being County Hall in Norwich.

The Innovation and Sectors team manages a wide range of programmes supporting Norfolk's innovation ecosystem and key sectors (including advanced manufacturing and engineering, creative industries, agri-tech and energy).

We are looking for a hardworking, client focused and efficient Project Manager. In this post, you will oversee New Anglia Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering (NAAME) Cluster, supporting manufacturing and engineering companies across Norfolk and Suffolk. NAAME brings together industry leaders from across the sector to drive collaboration and peer-to-peer learning, as well as showcasing regional innovation and skills support opportunities for companies.

The network of seven Manufacturing Groups which NAAME maintains throughout Norfolk and Suffolk provide a trusted forum for businesses within the industry to establish connections and facilitate collaborations. This is overseen by the NAAME Industry Council providing strategic leadership, oversight and decision-making for the network.

You will be expected to deliver a wide range of programme management functions, including monitoring the delivery of project outputs and tracking KPIs; overseeing the communications and marketing function for NAAME (including the website and social media); engaging with a wide range of stakeholders from across the private sector, public sector and academia to support business to business connections, improved manufacturing group and Industry Council meetings and to drive potential projects for the sector; and maintaining records and monitoring finances.

You will act as the Project Manager for NAAME with senior stakeholders from Make UK, Industry, Academia and Government in meetings and at external events. There will be an expectation of travel across Norfolk and Suffolk (the East of England region.

The Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Sector is one of the largest employers by sector in the region and therefore identified within both Local Growth Plans for Norfolk and Suffolk as a key sector of the regional economy, creating highly skilled and high value jobs.

You will need an eye for detail, a methodical approach and an ability to work with a wide range of people. You will also need excellent client satisfaction skills along with the ability to be adaptable and flexible across different areas of work.

Proven experience in programme management and experience with the manufacturing and engineering sector along with a strong teamwork approach is essential to this role.
