NIFRS wishes to invite applications for the following role:
The Training Support Technician supports the delivery of all NIFRS Learning & Development Centre (LDC) training courses and services and helps ensure an efficient and effective day-to-day running of the LDC training site.
There are currently two permanent positions, based at NIFRS Learning & Development College, 120 Dungannon Road, Cookstown, BT80 9BD. This recruitment and selection process will also be used to fill future vacancies; a reserve list will be created for 12 months should any additional permanent or fixed-term vacancies arise (offers of posts will be made in merit order).
Salary:
The salary scale is Scale 6. The salary range is currently £30,559 - £32,654 per annum.
Hours of work:
Currently 36¼ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm. A Flexible Working Hours Scheme is in operation. In view of the level of this appointment, the post holder will be required to work in such a way as to fulfil the obligations of the post.
