Job Description
The Role
The MVP, Global Chief Underwriting and Claims Officer, Protection is a key leader in Pacific Life Re's Protection business. You will oversee global Underwriting and Claims teams, participate in the Global Protection Executive Committee (GPEC), and contribute to the overall strategy of the Protection line of business.
Reporting structure involves Market-specific VP, Underwriting and Claims, who reports to the local Protection MVP. Your role includes ensuring high-quality execution of duties, promoting best practices, and aligning global and local strategies.
You will set the global vision for Underwriting and Claims, lead development initiatives including technology use and digital projects, and serve as the global lead for predictive underwriting and modeling efforts.
As part of the leadership team, you will help develop and implement the global protection strategy, working closely with various teams and stakeholders.
