A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am an elderly lady living in Barry who enjoys singing, walking, theatre, cinema, dining out, and shopping. Communication is often through song or sign language. I have a holistic approach to my care. I have a hearing impairment and mid-late Alzheimer’s, with behavioral changes and confusion at times. My daughter supports me, especially during initial adjustments.

Once familiar, I am outgoing, chatty, and enjoy social activities in the community.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support my activities and independence, provide companionship, and give respite to my daughter.

PLACE OF WORK

At my home and in the local community.

HOURS OF WORK

Monday – 10am to 2pm

Wednesday – 9:00am to 4:00pm

Thursday, Friday, Saturday – 6:30pm to 9:00pm

Total of 21 hours per week. We are open to discussing additional hours. Day shifts can be split between two people. Evening shifts involve companionship, ensuring I have what I need for sleep, and light domestic tasks.

RATE OF PAY

£12.90 per hour
