Job description

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Service and Account Manager to join their Wholesale team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Wholesale Director, this role will focus on driving revenue through the management and growth of MVNO, Broadband, Ethernet and IP services. You will be responsible for managing relationships with Domestic and International Carriers, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to existing clients. This is a key role offering flexibility of location across Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man.

Job Duties:
  • Account and service manage domestic MVNO and allocated carrier customers
  • Drive growth in Wholesale revenues in line with quarterly and annual targets
  • Identify, qualify, and implement new business opportunities in domestic and international markets
  • Create and execute customer engagement and development plans
  • Lead service reviews and contribute to strategy discussions with the Wholesale Director
  • Ensure excellent customer service is delivered to maintain long-term trusted relationships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure successful delivery of solutions
  • Qualify and manage sales opportunities and own the bid and proposal process
  • Present accurate and professional customer proposals and ensure proper documentation
  • Monitor and communicate progress on service delivery, acting as a point of escalation
  • Support strategic business initiatives by attending industry events and identifying networking opportunities
  • Complete monthly sales reports, forecasts and pipeline analysis
  • Manage internal systems for account development plans, meeting records, and account reviews
  • Provide service management and drive process improvement based on customer feedback
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, security and health and safety policies
  • Participate in ongoing product, systems and administrative training
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years' experience in sales and service management
  • Proven background in telecoms Wholesale and ICT technology solutions
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-Level contacts
  • Ability to create and manage Account Development Plans (ADPs)
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to exceed sales targets
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong project management, organisational and analytical skills
  • Methodical, self-motivated and team-oriented approach
  • Flexibility with working hours and willingness to attend client events
  • Current, clean driving licence
  • Satisfactory Basic Police Disclosure required due to the nature of the role
