Job summary

Eaton is seeking MV switchgear commissioning engineers to join our UK team. You will lead installation, testing, commissioning and fault finding of MV/HV equipment, while serving as the primary customer contact during projects.

Responsibilities include mentoring service engineers, ensuring safety and quality, and collaborating with project management to meet delivery targets and improve customer satisfaction across diverse customer environments.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning.
• Ability to test and commission large MV to HV installations.
• Protection relay programming.

We're now looking for a MV Switchgear Comissioning Engineers to join our growing team.

Are you a skilled and safety-conscious electrical engineer with a passion for medium voltage (MV) systems? Eaton is seeking a number of Engineers to join our dynamic team, delivering high-quality installation , commissioning and maintenance services across the UK.

What You’ll Do

• Lead installation and perform maintenance & commissioning, testing and fault finding of Eaton-manufactured MV and HV equipment
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution
• Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence
• Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning
• Must be able to test and commission large Medium Voltage to High Voltage installations
• Ability to perform protection relay programming

• Strong IT and computer literacy with attention to detail
• Ability to respond to breakdowns and drive resolution
• Leadership skills and a desire to coach and develop others
• Flexibility to travel and stay away as needed across EMEA region
