Job summary

Eaton is seeking qualified MV Switchgear Commissioning Engineers to join our UK-based field team, delivering installation, commissioning and maintenance services across the country. You will lead installation, perform testing and fault-finding on MV and HV equipment, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets while ensuring safety and quality.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning.
• Must be able to test and commission large MV to HV installations.
• Ability to program protection relays.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and perform maintenance, commissioning, testing and fault finding of MV/HV equipment.
• Act as primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
• Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering safety and excellence.

We're now looking for a MV Switchgear Comissioning Engineers to join our growing team.

Are you a skilled and safety-conscious electrical engineer with a passion for medium voltage (MV) systems? Eaton is seeking a number of Engineers to join our dynamic team, delivering high-quality installation , commissioning and maintenance services across the UK.

What you’ll do:

• Lead installation and perform maintenance & commissioning, testing and fault finding of Eaton-manufactured MV and HV equipment

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution

• Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence

• Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning

• Must be able to test and commission large Medium Voltage to High Voltage installations

• Ability to perform protection relay programming

Skills:

• Strong IT and computer literacy with attention to detail

• Ability to respond to breakdowns and drive resolution

• Leadership skills and a desire to coach and develop others

• Flexibility to travel and stay away as needed across EMEA region
