Job summary

A leading global data centre operator seeks an experienced MV Power Project Manager for a 12-month contract in Wales. This role involves managing HV projects while ensuring compliance with current legislation and standards, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and the VDC design process. Successful candidates should have a solid background in electrical project management, demonstrating strong stakeholder engagement and financial coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in electricity industry construction.
• Previous site/project manager experience of HV power projects.
• Good understanding of CDM regs and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage MV projects and liaise with VDC business.
• Oversee finance and purchasing coordination activities.
• Manage subcontractors and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

CWL4 MV projects

Liaise with VDC business and report progress

Manage sub contractors

Manage Power Consultants and VDC design process

Manage Client expectation(internal / external)

Finance Coordination activities

Purchasing coordination activities

Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 NVQ/ONC Electrical qualification with SMSTS

A proven track record in electricity(or comparable) industry construction with Previous site/project manager experience of HV power projects with a good knowledge of current legislation, technical standards and specifications

Demonstrate a good understanding of CDM regs and quality management systems

Client Representative experience
