Job description

Job Title: Multi Trade / Handyperson

Location: Cambridge

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 3:00pm finish

Salary: GBP19 - GBP20 per hour DOE

ARC Group are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Handyman / Multi-Trader for a commercial construction site in Cambridge.

This is a great opportunity to secure work on a busy project, supporting site operations with a range of trade skills and general duties.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out general snagging, making good, and finishing works
  • Minor carpentry, patch plastering, tiling, and painting
  • Basic plumbing and general repairs (non-qualified tasks)
  • Site maintenance, including upkeep of welfare facilities and walkways
  • Supporting site managers and trades as needed
  • Ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Previous site-based experience in a handyman or multi-trader role
  • Skilled across a range of trades particularly carpentry and painting
  • Valid CSCS card essential
  • Own tools and full PPE
  • Good work ethic, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
