GLL is looking for a Musical Theatre Teacher to work at The Plumstead Centre. If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Musical Theatre Teacher, there's never been a more exciting time to join us. This is more than a job; it's a career.

We are seeking a passionate Musical Theatre Teacher to help plan and deliver lessons that inspire and motivate children and young people in our Stage School style classes. With excellent communication skills, you'll assist students in overcoming technical challenges in musical theatre, movement, and drama. Your lessons will provide a solid foundation for their performing arts skills and exam success. Playing the piano is desirable.

What you’ll do:
  1. Plan and prepare lessons tailored to pupils' needs and shows.
  2. Motivate and encourage student progress.
  3. Assess and record students' development.
  4. Create musical pieces for performances.
  5. Provide excellent customer care.
What you need:
  • BA (Hons) in Music.
  • Degree in Musical Theatre.
  • Level 6 Diploma.
  • Ability to motivate and develop raw talent.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Willingness to participate in training.
  • Adherence to Safeguarding policies.
  • Desirable: Ability to play the piano.
Additional information:

This is a full-time/part-time, permanent, flexible position. Hours are negotiable and flexible working may be possible. Working from home is not available.
