We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a well-regarded Independent school in Barnet for a permanent position starting in September. The successful candidate will inspire a love of music and develop students' musical skills across Key Stages 3 and 4 (ages 11-16), fostering creativity and appreciation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music lessons covering performance, composition, and appreciation for Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Prepare students for GCSE Music exams, ensuring understanding of musical theory and history.
  • Create a creative and collaborative environment for students to explore musical talents and develop performance skills.
  • Organize extracurricular musical activities such as choirs, bands, and ensembles.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialization in Music.
  • Experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4.
