About the Role:
We are currently looking for a passionate and adaptable Music Teacher to join our team on a supply basis in the Nottingham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is enthusiastic about delivering creative and engaging music education to secondary school students.

As a Supply Music Teacher, you will inspire young minds through the power of music, delivering dynamic lessons that encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration. This flexible role allows you to teach in a variety of schools, adapting to different learning environments and supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons tailored to the curriculum.

  • Teach practical and theoretical music, including performance, composition, and appreciation.

  • Engage and motivate students with diverse musical interests and abilities.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive learning atmosphere.

  • Assess student progress and offer clear, constructive feedback.

  • Support students in developing musical skills and confidence.

  • Collaborate with school staff to support extracurricular music activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in Music or a related field.

  • Experience teaching music at the secondary level (KS3/KS4).

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

  • A genuine passion for music and inspiring students.

  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
