Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Music Teacher to join our dedicated team at a vibrant secondary school in Croydon, committed to providing high-quality music education that develops students' musical talents, creativity, and appreciation for the arts.

In this role, you will:

• Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and innovative lessons.
• Create a supportive learning environment for students to explore their musicality.
• Lead and direct school choirs and instrumental ensembles.
• Organise and participate in school concerts and musical productions.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their potential.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and maintain high teaching standards.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Music or a related field.
• Experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
• Understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Music.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• A passion for Music and inspiring students.
• Musicianship skills and ability to teach various instruments and vocal techniques.
