Job description

Career Teachers are currently recruiting qualified QTS / QTLS Music Teachers to start as soon as possible.

We are looking to appoint passionate and qualified Music Teachers who are ideally looking for long-term work and available to start as soon as possible, to meet the high demand for our schools.

We work with a wide variety of Secondary Schools across Birmingham and the surrounding area's, and are extremely busy with requests from our schools with the flexibility of working around your commitments with part-time and full-time hours to suit, as well as short-term and long-term assignments, with some leading to permanent contracts.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Music or related field
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in teaching Music at KS3-4.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning.
  • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
  • Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
  • Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
