HAYS Education are looking for Music Teachers to work in schools across East Sussex and surrounding areas. Your new role:

In this role, you need to be a strong, resilient teacher, working in welcoming and supportive environments that help students and teachers grow and achieve their best. Helping every student find their dream, while also giving them the tools and confidence to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  2. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
  5. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  6. Mark students' work promptly and provide timely feedback.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Confidence in delivering a topic/subject to a group.
  • Ability to relate well to pupils.
  • Enthusiasm when delivering lessons to pupils.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
