Our high-achieving school in Hackney is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Music Teacher to join our vibrant arts faculty. You will play a key role in developing students' musical skills, confidence, and appreciation for the power of music.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective Music lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
  • Plan and implement a comprehensive and progressive Music curriculum.
  • Develop students' performance, composition, and analytical skills in music.
  • Encourage participation in musical ensembles and performances.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves musically.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Music or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Music at secondary level (ECTs encouraged to apply).
  • Strong musical performance skills on at least one instrument.
  • A good understanding of music theory and history.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
