Job Description:

We are assisting a secondary school in the Chislehurst area in recruiting a driven Music Teacher with a real passion for the subject and a dedication to inspiring students.

This role is perfect for an inspirational Teacher of Music with excellent subject knowledge, who will join the school’s enthusiastic department and collaborate with a dedicated and talented team.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Well-organized and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Works well with staff and pupils.
  • Strong classroom management and keen to make a difference in the lives of young people.
  • Familiar with Music at KS5 and the GCSE specification at KS4.
  • Ready to work with young people both in lessons and as a tutor.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) : Or equivalent and a relevant degree.
  • Experience : Proven experience teaching Music across secondary schools and further education.
  • Passion for education : A genuine passion for working with children and enjoying the school environment.
  • Professionalism : Punctual, trustworthy, able to work as part of a team, and develop and maintain positive relationships with all staff.
