Job description

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a full-time Music Teacher based in Selby, starting in September. This is a temporary position with potential for extension. The salary will align with the main teaching pay scale, ranging from £31,650 to £46,368, subject to change with annual pay scale updates. We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time to full-time; please indicate your availability of at least 4 days.

The role involves teaching Music to KS3 and KS4 students, including all planning and marking responsibilities. A resource bank and a supportive head of department will minimize planning requirements.

Located in Selby, the schools are accessible by car or public transport. Directions and parking information will be provided. These schools have excellent local reputations, and success in this role could lead to longer-term opportunities.

We support professional development through our CPD offerings via The National College. Registering for this role may also lead to other shifts and roles within Tradewind Recruitment, working with various local schools that value and treat their staff well.
