Are you a passionate and creative Music Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of musicians? Our client, a dynamic and inclusive secondary academy based in Mitcham, South London, is seeking a talented and dedicated Music Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts department. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)

Foster a love of music through practical, theoretical, and performance-based learning

Organise and lead extracurricular music opportunities, including ensembles, choirs, and school productions

Use assessment effectively to support pupil progress and celebrate musical achievement

Contribute to a positive and ambitious department culture that promotes high standards and inclusivity

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Music in a secondary setting

Strong subject knowledge across a broad music curriculum, including composition, performance, and theory

A commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils

The ability to inspire creativity, confidence, and a love for learning
