Are you a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher ready to make a difference? Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic Music specialist to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Taunton.

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is a great opportunity to join a school that values creativity, expression, and high-quality teaching.

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Music lessons that inspire creativity and musical appreciation

  • Teach across KS3 and KS4, preparing students for performances, assessments, and GCSEs (if applicable)

  • Develop pupils' skills in composition, performance, and listening

  • Lead or support extracurricular activities such as choirs, ensembles, and school productions

  • Contribute to the wider school community and creative arts culture

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or significant experience teaching Music

  • Strong subject knowledge and practical skills across a range of instruments or digital music tools

  • Confident classroom management and a passion for inclusive education

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
