The school has a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional and inspiring Teacher of Music to join their talented Creative and Performing Arts Team.

Applications from experienced and Early Career Teachers are encouraged, and a comprehensive ECT support package would be available if appropriate. The school will also welcome applications from non-qualified teachers with a strong background in Music.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location – Southampton, Hampshire.
• Position – Teacher of Music
• Contract or position start date – September 4th, 2023
• Duration / Likely Duration – Permanent
• Minimum rate of pay – Paid to scale
• Hours – 8:30 am – 3:00 pm, plus parents’ evenings and department meetings.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent (or a related Music degree)
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last 2 years
