Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Rochdale from September 2025, to cover a 1-year maternity leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire creativity and a love for music across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' confidence, performance skills, and musical understanding.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong background in Music

  • Have experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE experience preferred)

  • Be enthusiastic, imaginative, and able to bring music to life in the classroom

  • Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including performances, clubs, and events
