Academics are currently looking for a talented Music teacher for one of our well-respected secondary schools in the Pontefract area. This will be an immediate start and will run until the end of the academic year.

As a Music teacher, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Contributing towards any extracurricular activities and events.
  • Creating a supportive environment and assisting any students that are struggling or falling behind with their studies.
  • Collaborating with other teachers in the department and helping to further develop the Music curriculum.

For the role of a Music teacher, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or a PGCE in Music.
  • Experience teaching Music across key stage 3 and key stage 4.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Must have a DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
