The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons. This role is a wonderful opportunity for an educator to enrich the musical experiences and education of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Develop and implement a stimulating and inclusive music curriculum.
Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their musical potential.
Organize and lead musical performances, concerts, and extracurricular music activities.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Participate in school events and activities that promote the music department.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Music or a related field.
Experience teaching music at the secondary school level is desirable.
Strong knowledge of the music curriculum and current educational best practices.
Proficiency in playing and teaching various musical instruments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
