Job description

CER is looking for an experienced Music Teacher to join a promising Secondary School in Leeds, West Yorkshire area.

About our client school: An exciting new opportunity has opened in a secondary school located in the Leeds, West Yorkshire Region working exclusively with a Trust who are looking for a passionate Music Teacher.

Our client school are also keen to hear from Early Career Teachers who are seeking to forge their career within Secondary Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that are in line with the national curriculum and cater to the needs of all students.
  2. Assess student progress and provide support with the students' individual and group learning.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  4. Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification/experience is desirable but not essential.
  2. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
  3. Previous experience teaching at a secondary level is desirable but not essential.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
