GSL Education London Branch is seeking an experienced Music Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive girls' secondary school and sixth form in the heart of Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Music Teacher who is passionate about inspiring young minds and sharing a love of music through engaging and creative lessons.

As a Music Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the musical journey of students across Key Stages 3 to 5. The school has excellent music facilities, supportive leadership, and a commitment to providing a rich and balanced curriculum.

Responsibilities of the Music Teacher:

Deliver engaging and well-structured music lessons to Key Stages 3, 4 and 5

Plan and deliver a broad range of musical activities, including theory and practical elements

Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Music exams

Organise and support school concerts, performances, and extracurricular music clubs

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support learning

Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements for the Music Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Proven experience as a Music Teacher in a secondary school setting

Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for music education

Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

Right to work in the UK
