A vibrant school is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and foster a love of music across the school, from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4. Duties as Music Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver engaging music lessons in line with the National Curriculum, covering practical and theoretical elements.
2. Foster a love for music and creativity across all age groups, encouraging student participation in performances and projects.
3. Develop students’ skills in various instruments, voice, and music theory.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support musical development.
5. Organise and lead music-related extracurricular activities, such as choirs, bands, and school performances.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into other curriculum areas.
7. Contribute to the wider school community through music events, concerts, and collaborations.

Ideal Music Teacher:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Music or a related field.
2. Experience teaching music at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
3. A strong passion for music and a creative teaching approach.
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
5. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging environment for all students.
6. Dedication to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
