Job description

Tradewind Recruitment is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School located outside of Derby City Centre for an enthusiastic and committed and experienced Music Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to teach Music to a variety of year groups.

As a Music Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the curriculum to secondary school students.
  • Marking and assessing students' work in line with school policies.
  • Full teaching responsibilities, including maintaining a positive classroom environment and ensuring effective learning.
  • Contributing to the school's curriculum development and fostering an engaging and inclusive classroom culture.

This position will be paid to scale based on experience, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about languages, committed to student progress, and able to make a positive impact in the classroom.
