Are you an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of musicians? We are seeking a dynamic and committed individual to join our vibrant Secondary School in Chorley from 1st September 2025, in a full-time capacity. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential for a long-term future within a supportive and creative department.
Teach engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Contribute to the school’s thriving performing arts culture
Plan and deliver a broad, balanced, and exciting music curriculum
Lead or support extra-curricular activities, including ensembles and school performances
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A strong passion for music and music education
Creative, flexible, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Willingness to take part in wider school life
A welcoming and inclusive school environment
Supportive leadership and dedicated colleagues
Modern facilities, including a well-equipped music department
Clear pathway to a permanent contract

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
